in need of project feedback
What if I took the idea of the $100 laptop for all students in Libya and turned the research into a powerpoint presentation? What else could I do with this???? If I could turn my passion toward African issues into a substantial project for this class I would be a very happy girl!

Jenn, the research is important--seems that it would take you in a number of directions--to gather more information. I would also plan to talk with some folks who have been in Africa. I would talk w/Professor Van der Veur in Communications for example.
An enhanced PP would be a great way to engage us.
As you do the research you may see a focus you want to pursue--using Friedman and notions about the "digital divide."
We'll contine to talk about this. Right now, the research is the place to start. Will you find enough information/discussion of the topic to make it viable? K
Jen, this sounds like a great project. I've been in Africa a few times and have a couple friends and relatives living there. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
